About this event

The Día de los Muertos Street Festival fills 10 blocks of downtown Corpus Christi with ofrendas honoring loved ones who have passed. Live music and dance, local art, food and face painting spread along Chaparral, Mesquite, Starr, Peoples and Taylor Streets. K Space Contemporary and Electra Art*Axis Tattoo coordinate the festival, which benefits K Space Contemporary.

Our take: It runs from early afternoon to midnight, so see the ofrendas and art in daylight and stay for the music after dark.
