About this event
Since 1855, the West Tennessee State Fair has grown from a gathering of local farmers in Henderson into a ten-day mix of livestock shows, pageants, crafts, rides, and music at 575 Fourth Street. Cattle, registered sheep, and goats are judged in youth and open classes, and pageant contestants ages 0 to 13 take the stage. A Burger Grill-Off pits local supporters against each other one evening. A bulls-and-barrels rodeo runs two nights, and WTSF Got Talent splits adults from kids and youth. Funnel cakes sit with other fair food. If you made it, grew it, or created it, there is an exhibit class for it.
Our take: Plan a Friday or Saturday evening if the rodeo is the reason you are coming.
