Port Farms Fall Harvest Festival

Port Farms in Waterford, about 20 minutes from Erie and a day trip from Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Buffalo, runs Fall Harvest on a working farm with more than 35 attractions. The centerpiece is a 5-acre corn maze, joined by a corn box, giant slides, wagon rides, barnyard blasters, jumping pillows, and farm animals. General admission also covers Portville, Slide Mountain, the Ball Zone, Game Garden, pedal carts, Mindbender Mazes, and a trike track. Pumpkins, squash, gourds, mums, and corn stalks are sold to take home, and a gift shop sits on the grounds.

Our take: Start in the 5-acre corn maze, then let the kids loose in Portville and on Slide Mountain.
