About this event

The Commemorative Air Force's AirPower History Tour brings World War II bombers to the Tulsa Air and Space Museum, led by the B-29 Superfortress FIFI and the B-24 Liberator Diamond Lil, with a T-6 Texan, a PT-13 Stearman and a Beech SNB RC-45J. Visitors on the ramp can see every aircraft up close, hear the radial engines in the skies over Tulsa, buy rides and tour the bomber cockpits when the planes aren't flying.

Our take: Arrive by 9 a.m. to watch the bombers take off, then stay for cockpit tours of the B-29 and B-24, which start around noon.

Parking

Tulsa Air and Space Museum, 3624 N. 74th E. Ave., Tulsa.

Good to know

9 a.m.–5 p.m. daily. Ramp access $20 ages 14 and up, $10 ages 5–13, free under 5. Rides cost extra and can be booked in advance through the Commemorative Air Force.
