Cornerstone Kids' Ranch Pumpkin Patch

Cornerstone Kids' Ranch Pumpkin Patch covers 160 acres about five minutes northwest of Ada, at 11960 CR 3536. General admission includes the activities and a pumpkin from the Jack-O-Lantern patch, where some pumpkins weigh as much as 20 pounds. The list runs from an inflatable corn maze, hayrides, and an indoor hay-bale maze to inflatable games, train rides, a hay-bale castle, a petting farm, diamond dig, a pedal-car racetrack, duck races, carnival games, picnic areas, and a playground. Pony rides are limited to Fridays through Sundays. Gemstone mining, rock climbing, and zip lines are add-ons, and the climbing and zip lines run Fridays through Sundays. School groups rotate through 10 stations after a lodge presentation. The snack shack sells hot dogs and cheese nachos, and the pecan farm offers cinnamon-glazed pecans and fudge, sold in the lodge.

Our take: Stop at the lodge for fudge and cinnamon-glazed pecans, and book a school group if you want the 10 stations without a weekend crowd.
