About this event
Clayton's Punkin Chunkin' is a fall festival in the Thousand Islands, run with the Clayton Chamber of Commerce at 517 Riverside Drive in Clayton. The day splits into a youth chunkin' and an adult chunkin', with barbecue served until it is gone and a barbecue contest tasting later on. A farmers' market sets up along Riverside Drive. The whole program runs rain or shine.
Our take: Start on Riverside Drive at the farmers' market, then stay for the youth throw before the adult chunkin' and the barbecue contest tasting.
Good to know
Rain or shine. Youth chunkin' at 11 am, adult chunkin' at 1 pm, barbecue 11 am until gone, contest tasting 2-3 pm, farmers' market 10 am-4 pm.
