About this event
The Sandwich Fair at 7 Wentworth Hill Road in Sandwich is a Columbus Day weekend fair with a midway, a parade, and a long contest card. Events include an antique auto show, a children's tractor pull, a cornhole tournament, keg toss, skillet toss, tractor pulls, pickup truck pulls, and a woodmen's competition, plus a fleece-to-shawl demo. Livestock runs from 4-H cattle, dairy, goat, horse, sheep, and swine shows to oxen pulling and open sheep and swine. Exhibit halls cover baked goods, canned goods, maple, honey, dairy, quilts, rugs, flowers, and vegetables. Helicopter rides are offered too.
Our take: Pick one livestock show and one toss or pull, then leave time for the exhibit halls and the midway.
