About this event
White Mountain Oktoberfest at Loon Mountain bills itself as the largest Oktoberfest in the region, a three-day celebration at Governor Adams Lodge in Lincoln. Games include stein hoisting, oompah chairs, a root beer toss, and keg toss, with sign-up ahead of each contest. Adults 21 and older can use the Paul Bunyan Room for seasonal beers, shandies, and ciders. Oompah bands play polkas and waltzes. Extra draws include axe throwing for ages 18 and up, live chainsaw wood carving, and a Sunday live-animal visit from Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. Gondola skyrides run to the summit of Loon Peak for foliage views.
Our take: Ride the gondola for the foliage view, then come back down for stein hoisting if the contests are why you came.

Cashless card payments only. Paul Bunyan Room is ages 21 and up. Axe throwing is ages 18 and up.
