Northern Plains Farmers Market at West Acres

The Northern Plains Farmers Market at West Acres is a partnership between the Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society and the mall. The society runs the outdoor market in the west parking lot, just off 42nd Street South between 15th and 17th Avenues, as a gathering place that supports regional food growers, gardeners, and producers. The first weeks are usually slower while produce vendors wait on the growing season, with more fruit and vegetable sellers joining as the summer goes on. Stalls have included Red River Garlic and Produce, Driscoll Farms, Hannoun Sourdough, Woolridge Creamery, and Prairie Waves Flower Farm.

Our take: Come on a Saturday for the widest mix, since sellers such as Prairie Waves Flower Farm and Woolridge Creamery come only that day.
