About this event
Tupelo's New Year's Eve Party fills downtown with bands and DJs on two stages, the BNA Bank Stage at Fairpark on East Troy Street and a stage on Broadway. The evening opens with a DJ kicking off KidsFest, which gets its own early fireworks, and runs through sets by acts including Dr. Zarr's Amazing Funk Monster and The ShotgunBillys before midnight fireworks and a ball drop at Fairpark. Admission is free, and several downtown restaurants stay open for the night.
Our take: Bring the kids early: KidsFest has its own fireworks show hours before the midnight ball drop.
