About this event
The Dixie National Rodeo is Mississippi's big rodeo at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson, part of the Dixie National Livestock Show and Rodeo. Performances include bareback and saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team and tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding, and each one is followed right away by a country concert.
Our take: Weekend matinees are the easier pick with kids, and check the schedule, since there's no rodeo on two of the middle nights.
Good to know
Evening shows 7pm; weekend matinees 2pm. No rodeo Feb 15–16.
