Uptown Farms Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

Uptown Farms on Glade Road in Laclede pairs a pumpkin patch and corn maze with a resident goat herd. Admission covers a tour of the patch, the maze, the goats, a giant pumpkin bouncer, slides, hay-bale climbers, hayrides, and a corn pit. Pumpkins, picked or from the store, are add-ons, as are pumpkin slingshots, apple cider donuts, hot apple cider, and meat and cheese. Weekday school groups can book visits. Drivers from Brookfield or Chillicothe should stay west on Glade Road; a route that turns east toward Brookfield is the wrong way.

Our take: Ignore a GPS prompt that sends you east on Glade Road toward Brookfield and stay west to the black metal farm sign off Highway FF.
