Calvary Lions Mule Day

Calvary Lions Club's Mule Day fills the Mule Day Grounds in the small community of Calvary. Saturday starts with an early breakfast, then syrup making and corn meal grinding while supplies last, a petting zoo, vendors all day, a parade and an afternoon mule show. Show classes range from halter and western pleasure to barrels, tunnel races, cob races, a pantyhose race and a costume contest for mules and donkeys.

Our take: Plan for a walk, since parking is spread across private property around the community and there's no handicap parking.
