About this event
The Seniors First Turkey Trot sends over 5,000 runners, joggers and walkers, many in full costume or Thanksgiving-themed hats, around Lake Eola Park in Orlando in a "Race to End Senior Hunger." Proceeds benefit Seniors First, a nonprofit that helps low-income older adults remain independent at home, including through Meals on Wheels. Along with a finisher medal and a cozy cotton tee, the morning brings a best costume contest, a best turkey call contest, an oldest participant award and a free Tot Trot.
Parking
Limited parking on side streets and in area garages with hourly rates, including the Lake Eola garage.
Good to know
Costume judging 7am; turkey call judging 7:45am; 5K 8am; free Tot Trot 9:15am.
