About this event
Hunsader Farms, started by three brothers who left their Wisconsin dairy farm to grow vegetables in Bradenton, hosts its Pumpkin Festival across three October weekends. Every day brings a craft show, live music and shows, pumpkins and kids' pumpkin games, the Tiny Town pioneer trades village, hayrides, a butterfly garden, pony rides and scarecrow displays. Families also find a petting zoo, a barnyard playground, a jumping pillow, pedal carts, a corn maze and train rides, with homemade ice cream, farm-roasted sweet corn and pumpkin pie among the food.
Our take: Make a weekend of it: campsite, cabin, silo and wagon reservations at the farm's campground include festival admission for each registered guest.
Parking
$5 parking, cash only. Friendly, leashed dogs are allowed.
Good to know
9 a.m.–5 p.m. Admission $15 ages 10 and up, $5 ages 5–9, free under 5; cash only (some vendors take cards). Corn maze and children's train $2, big train $3.
