About this event
Dania After Dark opens its Oktoberfest at 100 W Dania Beach Blvd with music, vendors, and a kids zone, plus a ticketed 21-and-over sampling area. A ceremonial keg tapping opens the night. Contests include costumes for children, adults, and pets, a stein-holding showdown, a rubber chicken toss, and a chicken dance. National Night Out brings Broward Sheriff's Office vehicles and a dunk-a-cop tank, plus a pumpkin patch while supplies last. A shuttle runs from the Dania Beach Casino lot.
Our take: Use the casino shuttle, get in line for the keg tapping with a cup, and stay for the stein-holding showdown at 7 pm.
