About this event
The Santa Barbara Vintners Festival, which calls itself the original Santa Barbara wine festival, gathers at Firestone Estate, formerly Crossroads, in the Santa Ynez Valley. Guests taste wines from more than 70 wineries and meet winemakers and owners, in a county the organizers say offers more varietals than any other wine region. The Bubble Lounge pours sparkling wines from producers such as Alma Rosa, Foxen, Hitching Post, Sanford, and Sunstone. More than 25 regional restaurants and food businesses serve dishes from local produce, seafood, and ranch meat.
Our take: Ride the round-trip bus from Solvang or Santa Barbara if you plan to taste across the 70 wineries instead of driving Foxen Canyon Road.
Parking
Parking is on site at 4875 Foxen Canyon Road. Round-trip buses run from Solvang and Santa Barbara.
Good to know
No pets. Guests must be 21 or over with a photo ID. The festival is rain or shine.
