About this event

The Hillcrest Farmers Market is a year-round Saturday-morning market run by Pulaski Heights Baptist Church in Little Rock's Hillcrest neighborhood. Stalls line the church's front sidewalk on Kavanaugh Boulevard and wrap around the corner onto Cedar Street. Shoppers find fresh vegetables and fruit, meat, cheese, baked goods, plants and flowers, along with jelly, jam, salsa and pickles. Little Rock's tourism bureau calls it a true neighborhood staple, set in one of the city's most walkable areas, and singles it out as the only year-round market in its guide.

Our take: Shop early, then stroll Kavanaugh through Hillcrest and the Heights for breakfast and a look around the local shops.
