About this event

Locally grown since 1973, the Fayetteville Farmers Market fills the Downtown Square with vegetables, fruit, flowers, plants, meats, baked goods, honey, eggs, jams, juried crafts and fine art. Everything is grown or made in Washington, Madison, Benton and Carroll counties. The market is owned by its vendors through the Rural Mountain Producers Exchange cooperative and runs year-round, moving indoors for winter, with holiday markets on the Square in the run-up to Christmas.

Our take: Saturday morning is the full Square experience; the pre-Christmas holiday markets open later and lean toward gifts and crafts.

Good to know

Saturdays on the Square 7 a.m.–1 p.m. April–November (not the Saturday after Thanksgiving); holiday markets Nov. 21 (7 a.m.–2 p.m.) and Dec. 5, 12 and 19 (9 a.m.–1 p.m.); indoor winter market January–March.
