About this event
Penton Farms in Verbena is a fourth-generation family farm run by Scott and Rachell Penton. It began with a few acres of peach trees and vegetables and has grown to more than 150 acres in production, with more than 6,000 peach trees, a strawberry u-pick and a pumpkin patch offering more than 50 varieties of pumpkins. In summer the Pentons sell at farmers markets such as Pepper Place, Eastchase and Millbrook.
Our take: Admission includes one pumpkin from the patch, so take your time choosing among the varieties.
Good to know
Monday–Friday 1–6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.–6 p.m., closed Sunday. $14 per person ages 2 and up, including one pumpkin.
