About this event
The City of Kenai throws a pumpkin festival at Softball Greenstrip, with painting, hayrides, hot cider, and fall games. The set piece is a pumpkin drop from a Kenai Fire Department ladder truck. A no-carve decorating contest splits artists into ages 4 and under, 5-8, 9-12, teen, and adult. Youth 18 and under can pick up a pumpkin at Kenai Community Library; adults bring their own. Contest check-in, winner announcements, the drop, and pickup are timed through the afternoon.
